Space Shuttle OV-105 Endeavour lifted off into space. This is Endeavour’s 25th and final mission, and is the second to last launch of a shuttle. Atlantis to launch in June 2011 will be the last space shuttle launch.
The shuttle reached space in 8.5 minutes from liftoff. It was a smooth launch.
