Space Shuttle OV-105 Endeavour lifted off into space. This is Endeavour’s 25th and final mission, and is the second to last launch of a shuttle. Atlantis to launch in June 2011 will be the last space shuttle launch.
The shuttle reached space in 8.5 minutes from liftoff. It was a smooth launch.
The Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence is over. Humans didn’t find aliens. SETI ran out of funds. The project went on hibernation mode as lack of funds forced it to go offline. The project needs over US$5 million dollars to continue to operate.
