iOS is an awesome writing tool. Having a split keyboard on iPad will make it an even easier way to write on it using thumbs the way I do on iPod touch. This is probably my favorite feature of iOS 5.

Apple is running defense for its App developers. Lodsys owns in-app patents, which Apple has licensed. Lodsys is going after Apple’s app developers for fringing on its patents. Apple says, we licensed this from you guys, and since our developers are using Apple software then we got their back!
